May - August

  • The Cornerstone Program kicks off in May with three months in our summer camp program, the heart (pun intended) of Heartland’s ministry. Our summer positions range from camp counselors and high ropes facilitators to kitchen staff and marketing interns, but all involve playing silly games with campers, worshipping the Lord with fellow staffers, and giving your all for Jesus.   • Beyond our top benefit of living out and experiencing your faith immersed in like-minded community…

    You can easily add Adaptability, Conflict Resolution, and Creative Problem Solving to your skills.

September - May

  • Throughout your year with us you will be trained in

    • Greeting groups who rent our facility

    • Helping our hospitality team prep for new groups

    • Facilitating on-site guest activities

    • Helping our kitchen or maintenance staff

    • Loving on our herd of horses

    You will be AWESOME.

  • Weekly Bible studies, book studies, and spiritual classes led by our Cornerstone Director help deepen your understanding of God, prayer, discernment, and ministry skills.

    • Spiritual development makes up 4-6 hours of your schedule each week.

    • Many different methods of studying the Bible are introduced and taught to help you gain confidence and find one that works for you. A priceless and lifelong skill.

  • All community nights have three parts: Food, Fun, and Faith.

    • Two people are responsible for cooking a meal each week

    • One person is responsible for planning a fun activity

    • One person is responsible for preparing and leading a faith-centered activity

    Here are a few of our most memorable fun activities:

    • Sledding

    • Pumpkin Carving

    • LOTS of board games!

  • Multiple trips are planned by the director for our Cornerstone team throughout the year. This includes our highly anticipated International Trip!

    Travel expenses are paid for by Heartland!
