Each Cornerstone participant will receive $215/week while they are working for us.
Housing

Each participant will share a room in a fully furnished house on Heartland’s property.
We know our property is a “camp” but we promise- we have A/C, modern plumbing and electricity. It’s modern living on a gorgeous camp of rolling hills and hundreds of trees.
As the very wise Hannah Montana once said, “You get the best of both worlds”.
There will be a furnished kitchen as well- you can make all the gourmet cereal you want!

Wifi will be provided at your housing, in the office and most of our main campus buildings.
Meals

Our dining hall serves delicious hot meals throughout the year.
If there is a day when a meal is not being served- an additional meal stipend will be provided to Cornerstone members.

We want you to eat! Please talk with us about any of your dietary needs and we would love to come up with a plan to make sure you are taken care of.

Holidays you automatically get off are:
MLK Jr. Day
Easter
4th of July
Labor Day (Tuesday After)
Thanksgiving Day
Friday After Thanksgiving
Christmas- all Gap Year participants are given 9-10 days off for the Christmas Holiday

We cannot guarantee your requests for time off will be approved- but we welcome requests and conversations of how we can make things work should you need to take time off.
