Anna!
Anna Mitchell - Cornerstone Program Director
Heartland runs in her blood: her grandfather was Camp Director here from 1965-1990, her dad grew up as a camper and staffer here, and now she’s been both a summer staffer and a full-time director!
Anna’s seemingly unending joy and passion for what she does is contagious as she works hard to meet the mission of our programs. She empowers and encourages those around her, has the most amazing singing voice and can rock a Rubik’s cube.

Above everything, our Heartland staff loves God. They work to build their relationship with God and pour out that love to everyone else in our community.

During the summer our camp staff wakes up each day eager to build relationships with campers while putting Christ at the center. Whether it’s cheering for them to go down the slip n’ slide or helping them remember to brush their teeth, Heartland Camp staff give their all for every camper.

Joy is contagious, and our staff strive to choose it each day. Mundane tasks can turn into joyful adventures because our staff choose joy even on the ordinary days.

Where we go, we go together. Our staff are selfless and put in hard work without seeking personal gain. Our mission is to serve and make God known above everything else.
